LONDON TREASURES
“London Treasures” is a relative newcomer to the auction world, beginning its public sales only in 2019. But the wealth of experience of its founder Rabbi Naftali Knobloch of London and his rare expertise in Judaica in general, and particularly in the field of treasures of the different Chassidic courts, has attracted many seasoned dealers and collectors to submit some of their rare and treasured items to its auctions.
The sale of a valuable antique collector’s piece at the best price for both vendor and purchaser does not depend merely on management, marketing and sales skills. It requires a deep understanding of the true significance and value of the item concerned in relation to comparable items, recognition of the unique properties of the particular piece and its correct presentation, as well as familiarity with suitable prospective buyers.
Rabbi Naftali Knobloch of London is an internationally recognised expert in antique Judaica and especially in the area of Chassidic antiques, with hundreds or even thousands of valuable items of all types passing through his hands over the past 10 years. These include manuscripts, letters, old and valuable books, documents and books signed by great Rabbis, as well as objects used by saintly Chassidic leaders. Over this period he has earned a fine reputation for his honesty, reliability and expertise and it is this combination of experience, competence and dependability that form the foundations for the establishment of “London Treasures”.
