Advertising Poster Amsterdam Fashion Week Midcentury Modern. Original vintage advertising poster for the Amsterdam Fashion Week 16-21 November 1953 featuring a great mid-century design of a pair of scissors and images of clothing styles on a purple cloth pierced by a sewing needle diagonally in the centre with the thread curling behind the stylised title lettering. Held biannually from 1947 the Amsterdam Fashion Week was organised by the Dutch Women's Clothing Industry until the 1950s; the event was re-started in 2004. Very good condition, small tears at margins. Country of issue: Netherlands, designer: Rabot, size (cm): 74x49.5, year of printing: 1953.
