AN ANTIQUE ETCHING SIGNED SIDNEY LAWTON SMITH
An early 20th-century etching of the John Hancock House on Beacon Hill, Massachusetts. Below, in the margins, handwritten signature with a dedication to Mr. W.G. Shillaber from Sidney L. Smith. Attached to the back is a piece of paper with printed information about John Hancock. Sidney Lawton Smith (1845–1929) was an American designer, etcher, engraver, illustrator, and bookplate artist.
