ROMAN TRANSLUCENT GLASS JUG
Ca. AD 100 - 300.A Roman mould-blown glass jug comprised of translucent pale green glass. It sits upon a concave base, which rises into a polygonal body divided by ridges that taper to a cylindrical neck topped by a trefoil-shaped spout. A thin handle connects the shoulder to the rim. This piece has many intricate details, radiant colours, and iridescent speckles on the surface.
