Ca. AD 100 - 300.A green stone intaglio depicting dextrarum iunctio, a Latin phrase meaning “joining right hands”. This was a solemn gesture of loyalty similar to the modern handshake which could be associated with the marriage pact. The act is taking place beneath a single star.
