RARE GREEK HELLENISTIC CUT GLASS SKYPHOS
Ca. 100 BC - AD 100.A Greek pale yellow cut glass skyphos, with vertical walls that taper towards the rim and a splayed circular foot. The bowl features integral ring handles formed between plates that spay project from the rim. This vessel was produced using casting techniques and was then lathe-cut and polished.Size: 155mm x 85mm; Weight: 140gProvenance: Property of a European collector, acquired on the European art market pre-2000.
