New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty.A wonderful example of a hand-carved wooden female figure, likely a servant in a tomb scene depicting events from everyday life in ancient Egypt. The woman stands in a striding pose with delineated legs and a smooth lower abdomen, with full breasts below sloped shoulders and slender arms draped at her sides.
