ABBASID PEAR-SHAPED RIBBED GLASS FLASK - Ca. AD 700 - 900. A stunning pattern-moulded glass flask, made from translucent green glass. Its form comprises a large pear-shaped body presenting stylised vertical ribbed motifs, a curved shoulder, and a short conical neck that flares slightly to a smooth rim.
