Ca. 2600 - 2200 BC.A pair of copper cups with conical body. The first cup on the left is decorated with protomes of birds of prey with spread wings that envelop the body. The cup on the right features bull protomes under the rim, alternating with rosettes. Both cups stand on high feet.Size: 70-90mm x 65-70mm; Weight: 430gProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014, acquired in 2010 from a UK private collection formed 1970s to 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
