SET OF EGYPTIAN ALABASTER VESSELS
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A group of three vessels made from banded alabaster. Two of the vessels have short necks and a slightly angled rim, whilst the other is more cup-shaped. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number 74.51.5101. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition. Size: 90-105mm x 100-105mm; Weight: 1.96kg Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s.
