North India, Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. A set of three watercoloured miniatures, each frame finely carved with floral motifs and raised on scrolled feet, the interiors set with oval and circular miniature paintings on ivory under glass, one depicting the Taj Mahal in Agra, another showing the Golden Temple in Amritsar, and the smallest frame featuring another view of the Taj Mahal, the back with easel stands for display.
