Special speed version
Well knowed by the Singer Registry
Chassis 62686 was built in 1934 and sold in November of the same year at the Sandford Service station to J.R Edwards with the registration number CPA 656 still mounted on the car. In England Mr Edwards used the 62686 a lot in racing events; according to the national motor museum of Beaulieu the car took part between 1934-'36 in about ten races including the RAC rally 1935-'36, the car was also photographed while racing on two English magazines, including Autocar. The engine was replaced in 1936 with a model from a Singer coupe, apparently due to a failure in preparation for a race. In 1978 the bodywork was restored and painted green instead of the original white/red. In 2012 it was purchased by an Italian Singer enthusiast, and in December of the same year, the car arrived in Italy. In 2014, a specialized workshop carried out a restoration involving the engine, gearbox and brakes, and an alternator was installed; the engine reports the Le Mans specifications with increased oil pan and camshaft, the engine mounts Solex carburettors with acceleration pump for greater efficiency during use on the road. The car comes with the previously fitted Solex carburettors, soft top and soft windows. The car retains the original English number plates. The car has a set of articles from the races it took part in and some photos during the races (photocopies).

The Singer 9 was a 1930s sports car produced in England by the historic British brand Singer which began building bicycles at the end of the 19th century. The 9 is equipped with a 34 HP engine that allows it to reach 112 km/h, considered a sports car, and thanks to its short wheelbase and its agility many gentlemen drivers used it for competitions, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
