First known postcard Rav Elchonon Halpern . Golders Green. London
This postcard was entirely written by the Rav to a friend while he was still residing in Stamford Hill area in 1939. Rabbi Halpern was the well know Rav of Bet Hamedrash Beis Shmuel in North West London and was also the honorary Nassi of The Union in London. He served as Rav for tens of years and was beloved and respected by all. He was especially known for his unassuming manner and depth of clarity when answering Halachic questions.
This is a collectors item.
