Wandawi moved to Rome in 1972, where he attended the Academy of Fine Arts, and then to Stockholm in 1975, where he participated in his first exhibitions and taught at the Royal Swedish Theatre.He has participated in several European exhibitions in cities such as Rome, Milan, Venice, Stockholm, New York and Madrid. The artist loves to travel to get in touch with other cultures and is constantly moving between Sweden and Italy. Subject of this painting are buildings with tall pinnacles set against a background with symbolic references to ancient scripts. The red colour is textured in some areas with the addition of earthy material. Signed and dated lower right.
