Nato a Napoli l'11 agosto del 1892 appartiene ad un'antica famiglia di maiolicari dalla quale apprende i segreti dell'arte ceramica.
Nel 1920 presenta alcune opere alla XII Biennale di Venezia.
Acquistano alcuni suoi lavori il Re d'Italia, Mussolini, Starace e il Principe Giorgio d'Inghilterra.
