A roman carnelian intaglio, mounted on an ancient gold ring. Bust of Artemis. 2nd century A.D. intaglio 9 x 12 x 3 mm; ring diam. 18 mm; gr. 4,83. Large rounded hoop, flatten within ending with a large oval-shaped bezel. Setting with a carnelian intaglio. The goddess is facing left and has the quiver on her back.
