Important study on coinages from Alexander's Macedonian mints. The book is divided into two main sections. Part I dealing with Amphipolis silver of Alexander III and Philip II, while part II concentrates on Alexander's lifetime gold. Both parts provide thorough evaluation of the coins along with commentaries and summaries. The book is also filled with a number of tables, figures,appendice, indices and of course black and white plates.
