A GREY SCHIST RELIEF WITH BUDDHA AND FIGURES
Ancient region of Gandhara, 2nd- 3rd century
The rectangular relief with a decoration arranged on three parallel horizontal registers, the higher one with three niches with a curved upper side each collecting the figure of a seated Buddha alternating with columns enclosed within a frame, the central register with a series of columns, the lower one with theories of figures in a dynamic position.
