Yari
Steel, 29,7 cm (72,7 cm with the tang)
Signed 源盛重作 ( Minamoto Morishige tsukuru) on the tang.
Provenance: Fabrizio Savi collection, acquired in 2000 from Fred Weissberg.
The yari is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued in 2000 by Nihon Token Hokonzai, in which it is specified that the author is Kongōbyōe (Minamoto) Morishige, active in the province of Chikuzen on the island of Kyūshū.
