TWO ILLUSTRATED BOOKS
Japan, 1804 and early 20th century
One printed and dated to the third year of the Kyōwa period, corresponding to 1804, entitled 書師, Gashi ("Artists"), and the work of Kawamura Bunpō (1779-1821, 文鳳駿聲, Bunpō Soga); the other - by anonymous author - painted in ink and colors on paper, from the beginning of the 20th century and entitled 形物香合図 ( Katamono kōgō zu, “Repertory of shapes of incense containers”).
