Pair of Italian silver candlesticks - Naples, 1824-1832, mark of RAFFAELE MARESCA
circular shaped base with geometric decoration, truncated cone-shaped stem, the bobéche with decorations similar to the lower part. Stamped with the mark used by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, 1824-1832, silversmith Raffaele Maresca born in Acerra (Ref. Elio e Corrado Catello, argenti napoletani page 142).
Height 24 cm. Base diameter 11 cm. Total weight 613 gr (239+274 gr).
