A TURQUOISE AND GARNET INLAID GILT BRONZE PADMAPANI

Tibet, early 20th century

The deity standing on a double lotus flower base with the right hand in the varadamudra and a lotus flower in the left one, wearing a dhoti decorated in relief with floral motifs, the jewels enriched with small inlays of turquoise and garnets, the hair covered with blue pigments and the face with cold gilding and touches of color for the details.
