A 'BLUE AND WHITE' PORCELAIN STEM CUP
Vietnam, 15th-16th century
Circular section, the large container resting on a stem with a decreasing diameter, the blue decoration consisting of paired stylized petals and on the body of a flying phoenix, the inner rim with a geometric frieze, between the wall and the bottom an accentuated relief dragon with an opening in the mouth which communicates with an hole in the center of the base.
