French Art Déco bronze and ivory sculpture - ca. 1900, sculptor EUGENE HANNOTEAU
gilded bronze sculpture depicting a bust of an elegant young woman wearing a headscarf, with elephant ivory face (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) placed on a square marble plinth with bronze base.
Signed to the backside “Eug. Hannoteau”, Eugène Hannoteau.
Height x width x depth: 15 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm. Weight 880 g.
Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity and by CITES certificate.
