Peñarol football trophy
Bronze figurine, given to Roque Gaston Maspoli, footballer and coach of several Uruguayan teams and the Uruguayan national team. At the time of the awarding of this trophy, Maspoli was coach of Peñarol. The figurine depicting a football player in game action, mounted on a marble base, with an engraved brass plate bearing the dedication "LA PARCIALIDAD PANAROLENSE - EN AGRADECIMIENTO Y RECONOCIMIENTO A - ROQUE GASTON MASPOLI - CABALLERO DEL DEPORTE Y DE LA VIDA - 9 DE OCTUBRE 1995 " - Provenance of the former Sports Museum of Turin
