a) Licio Gelli
b) Among the papers that make up the lot there is also an injunction from the Spanish Ministry of Labor served in 1970 to Mr and Mrs Perón in order to regularize the position of a gardener at the Madrid residence of Porto de Hierro.
a) Isabelita's relations with Freemasonry are a central chapter of her troubled political life. Traces of it can be found in a series of papers documenting the relationship with Licio Gelli, his influential political adviser to whom, a few months after taking up the presidential mandate, he assigned the position of economic adviser to the Argentine Embassy in Italy.
b) The pressing tone of the injunction, probably unfounded, sheds a light on the relations that were anything but friendly at the time between the authoritative (and cumbersome) exile and the Franco regime.
