Folio (318x213 mm), 3 works bound together in a contemporary blindstamped dark brown calf over wooden boards (worn on upper cover, with loss of calf, partially restored at the foot of spine) with metallic clasps on boards (lacking catches, upper right corner of first cover worn), marginal waterstains at bottom of first leaves but generally in clean and bright condition, with a part of it contemporarily and beautifully rubricated with large capital letters in red. Early manuscript fragments removed from pastedowns (text still visible in ‘negative’, a long thin strip still present on rear pastedown. Contemporary bookmarks on outer edge, and a contemporary manuscript note stating the provenance from the monastery of Saint Matthias in Treviri (Trier, in Germany). First work: text in gothic type on 2 columns, ff. 4 unn., CLXXXI (misnumb. CLXXXII), 1 blank. Second work: text in roman type, with many large capital letters on 5 and 7 lines, ff. 2 unn., CXLVI numb. with woodcut device printed in black at the end. Third work: text in gothic type on 2 columns, ff. LXXXVII numb. with 10 woodcut historiated initials.
