Purple ebony Bureau - Genoa 1730-1750
Purple ebony paneled with rosewood inlay with heart-shaped rosettes. Shaped with double doming, front and sides. The rosette inlay is in the typical elongated cloverleaf decoration, in this case partocolarly rare as it is elongated across the entire wavy front. The base rests on cabriole feet. Handles, spouts, and mounts in gilt bronze.
Height x width x depth: 111 x 122 x 56 cm.
