Pair of large blue and gilt porcelain lidded potiches, China, 18th century - finely painted on the body to depict lake landscapes with figurines, buildings, tree-lined islets and mountains in the background; on the band near the neck, surrounded by a patinated metal ring, the decoration transforms into a refined carpet of leaves and flowers, the same which is repeated on the edge of the domed lid characterized by a grip in the shape of a Fò dog, h. cm. 70 (defects)Provenance: Schwegler Antichità, Via Montenapoleone 8, Milan, as per label placed under one of the lids
