Gilt and carved wood console, Emilia, 18th century - front uprights sculpted with full-bodied foliated volutes on which a zoomorphic mask rests, joined at the top by a branch centered by a sunflower and at the bottom by a curl of facing volute holding in the center a tuft of leaves from which emerges a putto's head surmounted by a valve of shell; a similar motif is repeated on the rear pillars.
