Four important chairs and a pair of walnut armchairs, France, circa 1930 - entirely inlaid in fine woods and bone with geometric motifs and figures taken from the Egyptian repertoire. Dossello with two flat pilasters arched at the top which include a perforated band in stained wood centered by the winged head of Isis flanked by a sequence of uraeus carrying the solar disk on their heads; straight legs ending in a feral foot. The armchairs with linear armrests resting on framed square-section uprights, ending in a bust of a pharaoh. Padded and covered with a refined fabric with oriental figures in polychrome on a beige background, the chairs: cm. 107x44.5x56; the armchairs: cm. 109x80x69
