French painter, 19th century - Portrait of a gentlewoman with a vase of dahliasoil on canvas, cm. 227x109Signature not deciphered on the foot of the vase at the bottom right; on the right side there is the Latin motto ”Quae mihi deliciae quae me devincit amore hic mea descripsit spouses ora manus”.The work has the same decorative structure as the famous portrait of Elisa Baciocchi preserved in Palazzo Mansi in Lucca, painted by Marie Guilhelmine Benoist in 1812
