Blanche Lebouvier founded her atelier in 1889 in Paris at rue Boudreau 3 and stood out from the beginning for the refinement of her creations, highly appreciated by the ladies of high society and the aristocracy. With her refined, never banal dresses, she soon positioned herself among the most loved Maisons, also appreciated by the American market, especially for afternoon dresses. The 1898 Grand Prix, a Parisian event dedicated to fashion, was practically an exhibition dedicated to her creations, which also regularly appeared on the pages of Les Modes, the most important magazine in the sector between the '20s and '30s.
