Agenore Fabbri for Tecno - Nastro di Gala, black painted metal bench, 1985, cm. 35x165x40 (slightly worn).The design of this model belongs to the mature phase of Fabbri's activity, in which the artist first returns to his expressionist matrix and then, in 1981, he discovers painting by creating works, such as the cycle of the Public Gardens, which are finally dedicated to a more open and moved vision of reality and human destiny and which will become prominent during the eighties, leading, in the following decade, to a colorful and playful re-enactment, also characterized by the use of ”recovered” materials such as sand, stones, fabrics, cans, etc., of the past informal experience.
