Pair of rare Jewish silver Sabbath candlesticks, possibly Germany 18th century
stem chiseled in the shape of a lion supporting a cut twig with flowers and leaves culminating in a bud-like bobèche; ribbed base embossed with reserves each containing a scene referable to the Old Testament; unmarked, h. cm. 20, total weight gr. 500 circa.
