Serpa / Seguro – In dark sepia, LF SRP-S1 on stampless folded letter dated Serpa (13.07.1841) to Beja, exempt from postage (S.N.R.). Letter with the mark well strike, without damages or repairs, very well preserved. Letter with signs of the mark having an oval border, but with the legend similar to that referenced by Luís Frazão as SRP-S1, without border. We understand it to be the same mark, used in a later period than that referenced. Catalogue value € 900.00. Scarce
