B 17 Bomber of the 384th USAAF taking off by Reg Payne. Signed by 2nd Ltntc O'leary, Staff Sgt Bielskis, Ltnt Defrancesco and Ltnt Lewis. Numbered 3 of 60. Reg Payne was RAF flight crew in Lancaster bombers during World War Two. His paintings are direct from memory of raids he was on, backed up by his log book and a detailed diary he kept.
