SHIPS FROM THE ARTIST'S STUDIO IN ------ Ogun, Nigeria I'm haunted by what I've seen and been told, so I seek solace in quiet teashops. My mind is filled with tears and words, and I crave truth in operas and poetry. BIO Damilola Ajegbomogun, born on March 14, 1994, in Ibadan, Nigeria, developed a passion for drawing from a young age. He pursued a degree in Art at the University of Lagos, where he honed his skills in various mediums, including hand drawing, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, and acrylics. Ajegbomogun's artistic journey began in primary school, where he would replicate images from magazines and create portraits of friends on cardboard, fostering his creative talent. His artwork often incorporates humor and irony, aiming to evoke enduring emotions rather than adhering to a specific theme or narrative.Artist Statement Through this years of been an Artist, i have explore the wide range of things, delving into the connection between art, the consciousness and the culture of our society.
