Fr. Manuel Rodrigues OFM (1645-1613), was a native of Estremoz; for family reasons he went to Castile where he received the seraphic habit, having taught with great success at the University of Salamanca, where he died at the age of 68. Second edition of his «Suma de casos de consciência...» (the first date from 1595); variant with the particularity of having an error in the date of the title page (1567 instead of 1597), later corrected. The group of 391 pages. corresponds to the second volume; the set of 77 pages. includes a “Tratado del Ordem Iudicial...” and the 104 final pages, unnumbered, the index.
