Second edition of this very important treatise written by Lavoisier. Unlike the first edition, of which only very few copies are known, this second edition contains tables and several excerpts from records of the Academy of Sciences and other scientific academies of the time. The work is considered the culmination of Lavoisier's work, reaching the foundations of modern chemistry. Very rare and valuable.
