FIRST FRENCH EDITION of one of the most important works on tobacco, written by the German doctor Jean Neander. Illustrated with a total of nine engravings, seven of which are non-text, representing the cultivation, care and processing of tobacco for the Indians, as well as the representation of pipes for their consumption. There are other Latin editions of 1622 and 1626. Rare.
