TELEGRAM dated June 24, 1904, sent to Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna from her mother, Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna. From Tsarskoye Selo to Moscow.
On the official letterhead of the Imperial Telegraph. 1 page; 27x22.3 cm. Fold marks on the paper, small tears along the edges.
The text of the telegram is in English: "I wait you with impatience will meet you here tender love. Mama."

Elena Vladimirovna (1882-1957) - Grand Duchess, daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich and Maria Pavlovna, Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin; granddaughter of Emperor Alexander II; wife of Prince Nicholas of Greece, son of King George I of Greece and his wife Olga Constantinovna.

Maria Pavlovna, Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1854-1920) - after her marriage, a Russian Grand Duchess. Also known as Michel and Maria Pavlovna the Elder. She was the eldest daughter of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Augusta Reuss of Köstritz. Niece of German Emperor Wilhelm I.
