With nine illustrations by N. Goncharova and M. Larionov on separate pages. The illustrations are reproduced using zincography. In a custom composite binding. In good condition. The book has been slightly trimmed. Super ex-libris "E.K." in the lower field of the spine, owner's inscription, and a stamp from Harbin on the title page.
Illustrations by prominent avant-garde artists N. Goncharova (1881-1962) and M. Larionov (1881-1964).
Blok, Alexander Aleksandrovich (1880-1921), was a Russian poet of the Silver Age, writer, journalist, playwright, translator, and literary critic. He is a classic of 20th-century Russian literature and one of the leading representatives of Russian symbolism.
