Large drum music box, probably Switzerland (Geneva), end of 19th c. Rectangular box made of walnut, black lacquered. Front and lid with polychrome illustration as overprint? In the lid a handwritten playlist with 12 pieces. Under the lid a second one with glass insert, revealing the mechanism of the roller and the chime with butterflies. Function checked, some teeth missing from comb, otherwise good, only lightly rubbed & bumped, 24 x 52 x 30 cm.
