Victor states in part `As agreed during the conference, I send to you a copy of `Banquise´, you will find two passages marked between pages 182 to 190 and page 306 to 313 which ''Paris-Normandie'' could publish in two or three separate times..´ VG Banquise (1939) is a story written by Victor, based on his experiences lived during his polar expeditions. Paris-Normandie is a French daily magazine created in Rouen in 1944
