HARLOW JEAN: (1911-1937) American Actress and Sex Symbol. A wonderful, extremely rare vintage signed and inscribed 11 x 14 photograph of the platinum blonde in a smiling half-length pose, swathed in white furs. Signed in fountain pen ink across a clear area of the image with an inscription, seemingly to Greta Garbo, 'To Brownie, a grand person - and a dear friend - Love, Jean'. A stunning signed image. Authentic signed photographs of Harlow are extremely rare as a result of her untimely death from kidney failure at the age of 26. Some light age wear, slight creasing to the right white border and a small tear to the left edge, about VG Greta Garbo (1905-1990) Swedish-born American actress, Academy Award winner. Throughout her life Garbo used the alias Harriet Brown.
