MENOTTI GIAN CARLO: (1911-2007) Italian-American Composer. One of the most frequently performed opera composers of the 20th century. Menotti wrote the libretti of all his operas. A good 7 x 9.5 photograph `Gian Carlo Menotti´, the Romagna image from Spoleto, showing the composer in a half-length pose, also dated beneath in his hand in 1990. Signed in bold black ink to a largely clear area of the image. VG
