SCHNABEL JULIAN: (1951- ) American Painter and Filmmaker. Well known for his large-scale paintings with broken ceramic plates. Schnabel directed awarded independent films such as Before Night Falls or The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. A very attractive signed 8 x 10 photograph, the image depicting the artist in a close-up profile portrait pose. Attractively signed in bold black ink to a clear area of the image.
