SMITH ALBERT RICHARD: (1816-1860) English Author. Smith was also a Mountaineer who ascended the Mont-Blanc in 1851. A.L.S., `Albert Smith´, one page, 8vo, London, 21st June 1859, on the North End Lodge, Walham Green, printed stationery. Smith states in full `''Which, Edwards she says, were her observations on that occasion - and I remember them as well as this last words as will be printed on my dying bed for anybody to read as which - which Edwards she says, and she says it just like that, not meaning one way or the other - they were her words''´ The letter has been neatly affixed to a slightly larger sheet of paper.
