WILDER THORNTON: (1897-1975) American Novelist and Playwright. Three times awarded with the Pulitzer prize. A.L.S., Thornton Wilder, to the verso of a postcard, Hamden, 25th May 1960, to Manfred Rongen. On a postcard showing to the front a Chinese hunting scene, Wilder thanks his correspondent and states `Many thanks for your kind greetings on my birthday.
